On February 1, 2026, the volunteers of E-volution Media, part of the activities of the BRCK Association, published a video dedicated to the topic of European values and the way people in Bulgaria understand them in their daily lives.
The video collects short opinions and reactions of citizens on issues related to freedom, solidarity, equality, democracy, respect for differences and belonging to Europe. The purpose of the material is not to give ready answers, but to show different points of view and to open a conversation about how European values are experienced outside the official language of the institutions.
The material was created by E-volution Media volunteers as part of their work on media content related to society, culture, youth participation and European topics. Through such videos, volunteers develop skills in interviewing, camera work, editing and field work, while presenting real voices from the local environment.
For BRCK, this type of content is an important part of our understanding of youth media — a space where young people ask questions, meet different opinions and look for a connection between European topics and the lives of people here in Bulgaria.
