Erasmus +

Erasmus + is one of the most recognizable programs of the European Union, focused on education, training, youth and sport. Through it, young people, organizations, volunteers, youth workers, trainers and partners from different countries are given the opportunity to study, travel, exchange experiences, develop skills and create international partnerships.

For the BRCK Association, the Erasmus + program is an important tool for working with young people and local communities. Over the years, we have participated, partnered and applied in various areas of the program, especially in the Youth sector, where the main focus is on non-formal education, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, volunteering, the participation of young people and the development of new skills outside the classical learning environment.

Our work under Erasmus + includes youth exchanges, trainings, mobilities for youth workers, youth initiatives, partnerships and activities related to democratic participation, culture, media, ecology, sustainable development, digital skills and work with local communities. In these projects, young people are not just participants, but an active part of the process — they plan, create content, participate in discussions, work in an international environment and develop their own ideas.

Particularly important for us are projects that connect European opportunities with real life at the local level. We work with young people from different settlements, including small communities and rural areas, striving to make the program more accessible, understandable and close to them. We believe that international exchange has the strongest effect when it returns to the community in the form of new ideas, initiatives, events, media content and personal motivation to participate.

In its projects, the BRCK uses the methods of non-formal education — group work, practical tasks, discussions, creative activities, media formats, fieldwork and reflection on what has been learned. This approach enables young people to develop not only knowledge, but also confidence, critical thinking, communication skills, initiative and a feeling that they can be part of the change in their environment.

Erasmus+ is also an important part of our international work. Through the program, we build partnerships with organizations from different European countries, participate in joint trainings and exchange experiences in the fields of youth work, culture, media, ecology and civic participation. These partnerships help us develop new ideas and involve more young people in quality international activities.

The BRCK Association is open to new partnerships under Erasmus+, both as an applicant organization and as a partner in projects related to youth participation, volunteering, media, culture, environmental education, work in small settlements and local community development.
