BRCK supported the holding of a partnership meeting on the EQUICARES project in Veliko Tarnovo

On June 4, a partnership meeting was held in Veliko Tarnovo on the international project EQUICARES, which brings together 18 partners from seven countries. The project focuses on topics related to access to mental health services, equality, working with vulnerable communities and improving the relationship between institutions, professionals and people in need of support.

The Bulgarian partner in the project is the Amalipe Center, which actively participates in the activities of EQUICARES and works on topics related to the Roma community, access to services, local work and the inclusion of community mediators and stakeholders.

The Association “Dream of Romance, Flowers and Space” — BRCK supported the implementation of the partnership meeting by assisting in the preparation, logistics and technical support of the event. The support included assistance in the organization of the space, technical preparation, provision of equipment and coordination of individual elements of the meeting.

The event also included online sessions via Zoom, which required a stable live connection with sound and video during the presentations. The BRC provided technical support for these sessions, so that partners participating remotely could fully participate in the work process.

Volunteers associated with the BRCK and E-volution Media activities also participated in filming the event and supporting the technical work during the meeting. This gave young people the opportunity to participate in a real international project environment, gain practical experience and contribute to the quality documentation and implementation of the event.

For the BRC, such support is part of the organization’s broader experience in the field of international projects, event logistics, technical support, media content and volunteer work. Participation in the preparation and holding of the meeting showed how local organizations can contribute with concrete capacity to international initiatives — not only through partnerships on content, but also through practical, technical and organizational support.

The EQUICARES partnership meeting was an important moment for the exchange of experience between the organizations participating in the project, as well as for discussing the next steps in the work on topics that require cooperation between different sectors, countries and professional communities.

The BRCK will continue to develop its capacity in supporting international projects, public events, media coverage and technical support of activities that connect organizations, communities and partners around significant public topics.
